Welcome to Mosic Player (the “App”). We respect your privacy. Mosic Player is an offline local music player designed for users who organize and play their own audio files on iPhone and iPad. The App does not provide online music streaming, social features, or account registration.
Privacy commitment: The App does not collect, report, or upload your personal data or private information to our servers or third parties. Your music library, playback history, and preferences stay entirely on your device; we do not operate servers that receive this data. You can delete this content anytime in the App, or remove all local App data by uninstalling.
Offline use: Core features—including your music library, playback, favorites, lyrics, and listening statistics—work fully without an internet connection. A network is not required for normal daily use. Optional links (such as this privacy policy page, App Store updates, or ratings) need a connection only when you choose to open them.
No data sharing: The App does not share your data with advertisers, analytics platforms, or other third-party services.
The App does not collect personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, phone number, precise location, or contacts), does not upload any user data or private information to our or third-party servers, and does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
In particular, we do not transmit device identifiers, location data, or cloud-bound usage analytics. Playback history and listening statistics exist only as local data on your device to power in-App Insights—they are not sent to us.
To provide core playback and library features, the following data is stored only locally on your device (it does not leave your device via the App):
All of the above happens on your device (or via Apple system UI). We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or sale or sharing with third parties.
All of the data above is stored in the App sandbox and system preferences on your device. It is not uploaded, and not synced to the cloud or any servers we operate.
Imported audio lives under the App’s Documents area. With iOS File Sharing enabled for this App, you may also browse those files in the system Files app / Finder when your device is connected—still only on devices you control, not via our servers.
You can delete local data at any time. Uninstalling the App typically removes everything in the App sandbox. If you rely on imported music, keep your own backups of original files.
The App requests device capabilities only when needed. Access is used locally and is not used to upload your content:
The App does not request camera, microphone, contacts, or precise location permissions for its core features.
Opening the privacy policy, App Store product page, or write-review page may use Safari / App Store links provided by Apple. Those interactions are governed by Apple’s policies. Aside from system capabilities, the App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, push, or social SDKs, and does not provide your library or usage data to third parties.
The App is intended for a general audience who manage their own local music libraries. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a minor, please use the App with a guardian’s guidance.
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is typically no cloud copy for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You retain full control of local data on your device:
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is available in the App under Insights → Privacy Policy, and at this page.
If a future version of Mosic Player introduces data collection that leaves your device, we will:
